This decadent Imperial Stout, a collaboration between CoolHead and Magnify, captures the essence of a liquid dessert through an intensive twelve-hour boil. The extended kettle time yields an incredibly viscous body, saturated with deep layers of chocolate fudge and concentrated roasted malts. A massive addition of peanut butter provides a creamy, nutty richness that integrates seamlessly with the dark malt profile. Expect an indulgent sensory journey where the high alcohol is masked by intense sweetness and a velvety texture, finishing with lingering notes of cocoa and toasted nuts. It is a bold, indulgent expression of the style designed for the modern palate.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (40+ SRM). Pours with a dense, creamy, deep tan head that shows moderate retention. Distinct legs and a viscous coating are visible on the glass due to the high alcohol content and extended boil.

Aroma. Intense and multifaceted; dominated by rich chocolate fudge and distinct, creamy peanut butter. Underpinning the sweetness are heavy roasted malt notes of espresso and dark cocoa. Subtle dark fruit esters of prune and raisin emerge as it warms, alongside a smooth, clean alcohol presence and a hint of nutty toasted grain.

Taste. The initial impression is profoundly sweet and dessert-like. Flavors of liquid chocolate and decadent peanut butter lead the palate, supported by a sturdy backbone of roasted malts that provide a necessary bittersweet cocoa balance. The 12% alcohol is well-integrated, providing warmth rather than harshness. It finishes long and indulgent with a lingering nutty sweetness and soft roast.

Mouthfeel. Full to very full-bodied with a thick, chewy, and syrupy texture. The mouthfeel is velvety and luscious, enhanced by low to moderate carbonation that allows the weight of the beer to coat the tongue. A noticeable but smooth alcohol warmth glows in the throat.
