Concordia Stout is a robust and sophisticated interpretation of an Irish Stout, presenting an opaque black visage topped by a persistent, creamy beige head. The sensory profile is led by high-intensity aromas of freshly roasted coffee and dark grain, uniquely accented by a sophisticated hint of sherry-like complexity. On the palate, a bold roasted malt presence delivers deep flavors of unsweetened chocolate and charred grain, supported by a firm hop bitterness that ensures a clean profile. Appearance. Jet black and opaque with deep garnet highlights visible at the edges. Features a thick, persistent, creamy beige head with excellent retention and lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity dominated by dark roasted coffee and toasted grain. Subtle secondary notes of dark cocoa and a distinctive, faint sherry-like vinous character. Low earthy hop aroma with very low fruit esters.

Taste. Initial impression is of assertive roasted barley and bitter espresso. The mid-palate reveals unsweetened chocolate and charred bread crusts. Hop bitterness is firm and well-integrated, leading to a decidedly dry and robust finish. A slight hint of dark fruit adds complexity without introducing sugar.
