This Hazy IPA is a vibrant showcase of the Galaxy hop variety, amplified by the addition of Galaxy Spectrum to intensify its celestial fruit profile. It pours with a luminous, opaque glow, releasing a cosmic bouquet of passion fruit, peach, and citrus zest. On the palate, the experience is incredibly smooth, reflecting a crushable body that balances soft, bready malt with an explosion of tropical intensity. The finish is clean and juice-like, with a restrained bitterness that lets the complex layers of peach and pineapple soar, perfectly capturing the brewer's intent for a stellar, fruit-forward journey through the stars.
Appearance. Color is a pale straw to golden (4-5 SRM). High opacity with a signature hazy shine, topped by a dense, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick, sticky lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical Galaxy notes of passion fruit, guava, and ripe peach. Hints of citrus peel and pineapple are present. Malt is subtle, providing a clean, bready, and slightly grainy background. Low fermentation esters complement the hop fruitiness.
Taste. Massive tropical fruit flavors of mango, passion fruit, and a distinct peach nectar quality. Initial impression is juicy and soft. Malt flavor is low, offering a neutral doughy sweetness. Perceived bitterness is low and very smooth. Finish is off-dry and lingering with a pleasant fruit-skin aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a silky, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. No astringency or harsh hop burn. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but subtle.
