Colbitzer Pils exemplifies the classic German Pils character, delivering a refined sensory experience born from generations of brewing tradition. It presents a brilliant straw-gold pour topped by a resilient, creamy white head. The aroma is defined by moderately high herbal and spicy hop notes, supported by a delicate backdrop of grainy-sweet malt and a hint of toasted crackers. On the palate, a clean, firm bitterness takes center stage, balancing a light honeyed malt sweetness before transitioning into a remarkably crisp, dry finish. This medium-light bodied lager is highly carbonated and exceptionally clean, offering a refreshing, flinty snap that lingers with a pleasant floral hop aftertaste.

Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (SRM 3), brilliant clarity with a creamy, long-lasting white head and excellent lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to moderately-high intensity featuring herbal and spicy hop character. Low grainy-sweet malt notes of toasted crackers and dough. Exceptionally clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.

Taste. Initial light grainy malt flavor quickly overtaken by a firm hop bitterness and herbal hop flavors. The balance is decidedly bitter. Finishes crisp and very dry with a lingering clean bitterness and a touch of floral hop character.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. Provides a crisp, refreshing snap on the tongue. Smooth but with a slight flinty, minerally sharpness and no alcohol warmth.
