Red Ale 5.6 º 32 IBU
Colapso Pintarroja is a bold Mediterranean Red Ale that balances a complex grain bill with vibrant New World hop character. The addition of toasted wheat malt provides a remarkably creamy, persistent head atop its deep coppery-red body. On the nose, intense notes of mango, blueberries, and blackberries mingle with floral undertones and a hint of vinous grape. The palate offers a full-bodied experience where toasted cereals and ripe fruit flavors are anchored by a moderate hop bitterness. This American Amber Ale finishes with a lingering, balanced richness that evokes the power and depth of the rugged coastline.
Appearance. Deep copper to reddish-brown (14–17 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a dense, persistent, creamy off-white head that leaves thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity; prominent tropical fruit notes of mango and dark berries including blackberry and blueberry are complemented by floral scents and a vinous grape character. Supporting moderately-high malt aroma features toasted bread and deep caramel.
Taste. Initial toasted cereal and caramel sweetness leads into layers of ripe fruit and wine-like esters. Hop flavor is moderate to high, echoing the berry and tropical fruit found in the aroma. Finishes with a firm, balanced bitterness that lingers alongside toasted malt notes in a medium-dry finish.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a creamy, smooth texture. Moderate carbonation provides a pleasant lift without harshness. Very low alcohol warmth consistent with the strength.
