This massive Imperial Stout presents an opulent sensory journey, defined by its incredible 14.4% ABV and thick, velvety texture. Deeply influenced by the addition of Bulgarian linden honey, the profile opens with aromatic floral sweetness that melds seamlessly with charred oak and the unmistakable vanilla and caramel notes of Jim Beam bourbon. Rich layers of dark chocolate and espresso from the roasted malts provide a sturdy foundation, while the milk stout base adds a luscious creaminess. It is a harmonious, warming masterpiece where the floral honeyed highlights provide a delicate counterpoint to the dense, barrel-aged intensity of the roasted grains.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (40+ SRM). A persistent, thick, deep tan head provides moderate retention, while the high alcohol and high viscosity produce prominent legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominated by rich roasted grains evoking bittersweet chocolate, heavy cream, and charred oak. The linden honey contributes a distinct floral nectar and light herbal scent, layered over Jim Beam bourbon notes of toasted vanilla, coconut, and spicy oak. Low dark fruit esters like fig and raisin are present.

Taste. Initial impression is powerfully sweet and roasty. Deep flavors of cocoa, espresso, and burnt sugar are softened by the silky lactose and floral linden honey. The Jim Beam barrel aging introduces a spicy bourbon character with wood tannins and rich caramel. Bitterness is firm but balanced by the massive malt backbone. The finish is long, warming, and sweet, with a lingering bourbon and chocolate aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied, chewy, and highly viscous. Low carbonation enhances the velvety, creamy texture. Significant alcohol warmth is smooth and well-integrated, providing a luxurious glow without being sharp or solventy.
