Golden Gate 10 is an effervescent and remarkably lean Specialty IPA that epitomizes the Extra Brut style. It pours a brilliant, sun-bright gold with a persistent white foam, radiating an intense hop bouquet of stone fruit, tropical melon, and bright citrus. The palate is defined by its bone-dry finish and high carbonation, creating a crisp, Champagne-like mouthfeel. Despite the assertive hop presence, the malt remains minimalist, offering just a hint of crackery crispness that allows the vibrant berry and resinous notes to shimmer. This session-leaning ale concludes with a clean, snappy bitterness that invites another sip, showcasing a masterful balance of aromatic intensity and refreshing lightness.

Appearance. Pale gold (3-5 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Large, frothy white head with excellent persistence and fine lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of stone fruit, tropical mango, and citrus zest with a hint of resin and berry. Very low crackery malt character. Clean fermentation profile with no discernible esters or diacetyl.

Taste. Initial impression is bone-dry and hop-forward. Vibrant hop flavors of melon, berry, and pine needles. Malt flavor is low with a neutral, grainy character. Medium-high bitterness that is clean and snappy. Finishes exceptionally dry and crisp with a short, refreshing aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Light body. Very high carbonation, providing an effervescent, prickly sensation on the tongue. Subtle alcohol warmth. Smooth finish with no astringency.
