This assertive German Pils breaks from tradition by showcasing a vibrant dry-hop profile featuring Centennial and Zeus hops. The sensory experience begins with a crisp, clean base of cracker-like Pilsner malt, which is quickly overtaken by a bold, modern hop presence. Centennial drives bright citrus and floral notes, while Zeus adds a spicy, resinous pine depth to the profile. Though it drinks with the refreshing, highly attenuated character of a classic lager, the interplay of these American hops provides an intense twist. The finish is remarkably dry and sharply bitter, staying true to the style’s crisp identity while lingering with a persistent, resinous hop trail.

Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (SRM 3), brilliant clarity, with a thick, creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. High hop intensity featuring prominent citrus, pine, and spicy notes. Low grainy-sweet and doughy malt character. Clean fermentation profile with no yeast esters or diacetyl.

Taste. Initial malt flavor of light cracker is quickly overcome by a medium-high hop bitterness and flavors of grapefruit, herbs, and resin. Medium-high bitterness lingers into the aftertaste. The finish is very dry, crisp, and clean, accentuated by a slight mineral sharpness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. Refreshing and crisp without being heavy or astringent. Light alcohol warmth.
