This nimble American Pale Ale offers a remarkably clean canvas thanks to its classic Pilsner yeast fermentation, allowing the hop profile to radiate with precision. Intense notes of pungent resin and damp earth from Columbus and Centennial take the lead, while Mosaic adds layers of ripe tropical fruit and berry-like depth. Despite its sessionable strength, the beer delivers a West Coast punch with a firm, drying bitterness and a lean, crackery malt base. Crisp and exceptionally transparent in its delivery, it balances a dank aromatic punch with a refreshing, snappy finish that emphasizes hop clarity and bright carbonation.

Appearance. Pale golden (SRM 4-5) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a moderately large, bright white head that shows excellent retention and leaves fine lacing.

Aroma. Moderately high hop intensity featuring prominent pine resin, grapefruit zest, and a distinct dank, herbal quality from Centennial and Columbus. Mosaic provides secondary notes of blueberry and tropical fruit. Malt is low and neutral, reminiscent of cracker or fresh grain. Fermentation is exceptionally clean with no yeast-derived esters.

Taste. Initial impression is crisp and hop-forward. Flavors of resinous pine, grapefruit pith, and earthy spice dominate the palate. The malt presence is supportive but lean, providing a crackery backbone that does not interfere with the hops. Bitterness is firm and moderate, typical for the style's 40 IBU range, leading to a bone-dry, snappy finish with a lingering, clean hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, refreshing texture. Carbonation is moderately high, enhancing the beer's snappiness. No alcohol warmth is perceived, and the finish is smooth and free of astringency.
