This collaborative Double IPA showcases a comprehensive hop spectrum designed to evoke an "umami" savory depth. It delivers a bold, mouth-filling experience where layers of dry hopping reveal dank, resinous pine and an intricate blend of citrus and tropical fruits. Subtle notes of white fruit and herbal aromatics provide additional complexity, supported by a clean, neutral malt base. Despite its 8% strength, the beer maintains high drinkability with a firm bitterness that balances the expressive fruit character. The result is a deeply satisfying, rounded profile that transitions from pungent hop saturation to a clean, lingering finish.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper in color (7-10 SRM) with a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves consistent lacing. Clarity is mostly clear with a very slight, modern chill haze.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a complex interplay of dank resin, pine, and bright citrus. Tropical fruit and white grape esters are prominent, backed by a faint herbal character and a clean, neutral, grainy malt presence.

Taste. Initial hop-forward impression dominated by citrus zest, tropical mango, and a distinct resinous dankness. Bitterness is high but smooth, avoiding harshness. Low, supportive malt sweetness provides balance before a dry, crisp finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, mouth-filling texture. Carbonation is moderate, providing a lively lift. A restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no hop-derived astringency.
