This vibrant Red IPA, crafted in collaboration with Elusive Brewing, showcases a beautiful harmony of classic and modern hops layered over a rich malt canvas. Aromas of fresh pine resin and grapefruit zest intermingle with modern notes of ripe passion fruit and mango, supported by a gentle undertone of toasted biscuit and sweet caramel. On the palate, a smooth wave of citrus and tropical fruit gives way to a balanced, medium-dry finish. A firm, clean bitterness asserts itself, leaving a lingering, resinous trail and a soft, warming presence that highlights its robust character.
Appearance. Deep amber to reddish-copper color. Clear with excellent clarity, supporting a thick, persistent, off-white head that leaves detailed lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High aroma intensity. Prominent hop notes of pine needles, grapefruit peel, and tropical mango blend with moderate malt aromas of sweet caramel, toasted bread, and a light touch of dark fruit.
Taste. Hop-forward initial impression with bold flavors of resinous pine, grapefruit, and tropical stone fruit. Medium malt flavors of toasted biscuit and light toffee provide a sturdy backbone. Features a firm, medium-high bitterness that is clean and well-integrated, leading to a dry, slightly resinous finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. Features a gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth appropriate for its strength, with no astringency.
