Second Breath is a vibrant American IPA that showcases the cutting-edge fusion of Phantasm thiols and specialized hop products. An intense sensory profile emerges from a precise blend of Southern Cross, Motueka, and Rakau hops, further amplified by the addition of Nelson and Pacific Jade. The result is a total juice bomb, saturating the palate with concentrated overripe mango, candied melon, and nostalgic gummy sweet notes. While these modern pellets drive an explosive aromatic intensity of tropical fruit and zesty lime, a clean, supportive malt backbone ensures the hop-derived esters and terpenes remain the primary focus, culminating in a modern, fruit-forward experience that redefines hop saturation.

Appearance. Medium gold with a slight, modern haze; features a dense, persistent white head that leaves delicate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of tropical passion fruit and guava driven by thiols, complemented by bright lime zest, crushed gooseberry, and a distinct peppery spice. Low, clean grainy maltiness provides a neutral canvas for the complex hop esters.

Taste. Initial punch of overripe mango and melon candies with a gummy-sweet impression. The mid-palate reveals layers of stone fruit and citrus supported by a subtle, bready malt presence. Firm hop bitterness is present but smooth, leading to a medium-dry finish with a lingering tropical aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate, providing a crisp lift that balances the perceived fruit sweetness. A noticeable, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
