Max Matters is a vibrant Hazy IPA that exemplifies the modern, hop-forward craft of Cloudwater. Pouring with a characteristic opaque glow, it releases an intense bouquet of tropical stone fruits and bright citrus. The palate is dominated by juicy hop flavors reminiscent of mango and passion fruit, supported by a soft, bready malt backbone. Despite its high hop saturation, the bitterness remains restrained and smooth, leading into an off-dry, silky finish. This beer offers a highly approachable 6% ABV, delivering a plush mouthfeel and a clean fermentation profile that allows the vibrant, fruity hop character to remain the undisputed focal point.

Appearance. Straw to light orange (SRM 4-6); opaque with a hazy shine; thick, white, meringue-like head with high retention and beautiful lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring tropical fruit, stone fruit, and bright citrus; background of lightly bready, grainy malt; clean fermentation with supportive fruity esters; no grassy or herbal notes.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor with notes of mango and citrus; low to medium bready malt character; low perceived bitterness providing a soft balance; off-dry finish with a lingering, juicy hop aftertaste that avoids any harshness or burn.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky texture; moderate carbonation; very light alcohol warmth at 6% ABV; no astringency or raw starchiness.
