Logical Progression is a vibrant American Pale Ale that showcases a modern, juicy approach to the style. The signature trifecta of Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops drives a sensory experience defined by bursting tropical fruit notes and a distinctive dank undertone. Careful adjustments to hopping rates produce a profile rich in passion fruit, mango, and resinous pine without overwhelming the palate. A subtle, supportive neutral malt base ensures high drinkability, while a restrained bitterness provides just enough structure to balance the succulent hop character. Appearance. Pale golden (approx. 6 SRM) with a slight haze. Topped by a moderately large, fluffy white head with excellent retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring prominent tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit), bright citrus, and a noticeable resinous, dank character. Low grainy and bready malt notes provide a neutral background. Fermentation is clean with very low fruity esters.
Taste. Initial flavors of succulent mango, papaya, and grapefruit are dominant. A refined dankness and piney undertone follow. Malt flavor is low and bready, supporting the hop showcase.
