Cloudwater's Drome is a vibrant Hazy IPA defined by an intricate hop trifecta. Simcoe provides a foundation of sweet tropical fruit and bright citrus, while Sabro introduces its signature coconut-like creaminess, softening the bold fruit profile. These intense tropical layers are refined by the subtle floral notes of Loral, creating a multi-layered and sophisticated bouquet. The fermentation character is exceptionally clean, allowing the expressive hop oils to shine through a soft, pillowy structure. This balance of tropical intensity and floral elegance results in a supremely drinkable beer that captures the modern juicy essence with a refined, well-rounded, and smooth finish.

Appearance. Pours a glowing straw to light orange color (4-6 SRM) with a significant, opaque haze that creates a luminous shine. It is topped by a persistent, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and dense lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit and citrus. Distinct notes of coconut and stone fruit are present, alongside a subtle floral and herbal backdrop. The malt character is low and neutral, offering a light bready, grainy foundation without any caramel or toast. Fermentation is clean with supportive fruity esters.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of sweet tropical fruit and pineapple. The mid-palate features a smooth, creamy balance with light floral elegance. Malt flavor is low, providing a soft bready base. Perceived bitterness is low to moderate and well-integrated, never becoming sharp or harsh. The finish is soft and off-dry with lingering tropical fruit and a clean aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy mouthfeel and no harshness or astringency. Carbonation is moderate. The texture is smooth and substantial without being heavy or viscous, showing very light alcohol warmth consistent with its strength.
