We’re taking you back to Mash Up 2022 with this next edition of our Remastered series and it’s Allen v13! This had been one of our most asked for suggestions by you guys and even had some requests internally for it to return.
Many things have changed in the last 3 years but this beer still packs a punch. Lashings of tropical fruit and ripe peach flow with generous helpings of fresh orange juice and grapefruit, carefully layered onto the classic resinous qualities of Allen we know and love.
This lush DIPA was co-fermented using a blend of our house yeast, Verdant’s house yeast and @jwleesbrewery’s characterful strain, which featured in DIPA v13.
Dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin, it drips with soft peach and stone fruit, followed by a burst of fresh tangerine and grapefruit. The resinous, umami qualities of Allen weave throughout, balanced by a candied fruit sweetness that lingers into the finish.
Hops: Citra, Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin.
