Utilizing a grist of Weyermann Pilsner, Vienna, and Caramunich malts, it delivers deep layers of toasted bread and honeyed sweetness. The addition of Mittelfruh hops provides a delicate floral and spicy counterpoint that balances the malty depth. As an unfined lager, it maintains a soft, slightly creamy texture with a clean fermentation profile. The finish is crisp yet flavorful, emphasizing elegant German malt character over bitterness, making it an incredibly drinkable homage to the modern Oktoberfest tradition.
Appearance. Deep gold (5-6 SRM). Unfiltered and unfined, resulting in a slight to moderate haze. Features a persistent, dense off-white foam head with fine lacing.

As a remote homage to this international beer holiday, we brewed up an unfiltered (we don’t own a filter) and unfined (no clarifiers added) rendition of this style with pilsner, vienna, and caramunich malts from Weyermann and German Mittelfruh hops. And while we’re still trying to find our way back to the good old days of partying our faces off, surrounded by friends and randos alike, we’ll let this beer attend the party in proxy for now.
