So Last Summer is a nostalgic take on an English Summer Ale, leaning into the structure of an Ordinary Bitter while bridging eras with its hop bill. Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber in color (8–10 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a low to moderate off-white head with fair retention and light lacing.
Aroma. Moderate bready and biscuity malt aroma from the Maris Otter base. The hop character is moderately high and complex, featuring the floral and earthy notes of East Kent Golding alongside the bright lime of Motueka and subtle tropical fruit from Citra Cryo. Taste. Initial impression is crisp and decidedly bitter.
