Cloudburst Brewing None More Dank
Cloudburst’s None More Dank is an assertive American IPA that masterfully balances pungent resin with complex fruit. A heavy-handed dry-hop of Mosaic delivers layers of blackberry and over-ripe pineapple, while Simcoe and Chinook provide a structural backbone of pine and forest floor. The inclusion of Columbus amplifies the signature dank cannabis undertones, complemented by the bright citrus notes of Centennial. Aromas of blood orange and watermelon rind transition into a sharp, palate-cleansing bitterness. This West Coast expression finishes exceptionally dry, allowing the hop-derived oils to linger against a lean, neutral malt backdrop.
Appearance. Color is a deep gold with excellent clarity. It supports a medium-sized, off-white head with great persistence and significant lacing.
Aroma. Intense hop-forward aroma featuring heavy resin, pine, and cannabis. This is layered with complex fruit notes of blackberry, blood orange, and tropical pineapple. A very low, clean, grainy malt presence supports the hops, with a fermentation profile that is notably clean.
Taste. High hop bitterness dominates from the start. Prominent flavors of resinous pine, earthy spice, and dank herbs are balanced by fruitier notes of watermelon rind and citrus. The malt flavor is low and neutral, providing a lean foundation. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering, bitter, and hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, enhancing the dry finish. There is a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth that never becomes harsh or fusel.
