Cloudburst Brewing Make A Splash
This vibrant American IPA showcases the singular intensity of fresh-picked Oregon Centennial hops from Goschie Farms. The sensory profile is defined by a bright, wet hop verdancy that elevates the standard citrus character into something far more exotic. Explosive notes of juicy watermelon and zesty blood orange lead the charge, followed by lush tropical layers of papaya and a tart, refreshing pink lemonade finish. A lean, grainy malt base provides just enough structure to support the aggressive hop presence without distracting from the fresh-from-the-field aromatics. It finishes crisp and decidedly bitter, embodying the quintessential Pacific Northwest harvest experience.
Appearance. Deep gold (7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves intricate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring unique notes of watermelon, blood orange, and papaya. A distinct, fresh grassy character indicative of wet hops is present, supported by low, clean, grainy maltiness and a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of hop-derived pink lemonade and blood orange flavors. Medium-high hop bitterness is clean and well-supported by a low, toasted cracker malt backbone. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering, resinous, and fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly resinous texture. Moderate to medium-high carbonation. Very light, smooth alcohol warmth with no harshness or astringency.

ZOMG IT’S OUR FIRST WET HOP BEER OF THE SEASON! With hops grown in Washington off to a slower start than usual, we dipped down to Oregon for some Centennial grown at Goschie Farms. Some of you may have noticed, we’ve been LOVING almost every “C” hop grown down South over the last few years – maybe it’s terroir, maybe it’s smaller acreages, maybe it’s pick windows…probably it’s a factor of all 3. And yet, we’ve never brewed with Oregon Centennial before! Why? NO IDEA! Because the notes of watermelon, blood orange, papaya & pink lemonade in this beer are some of the brightest and most unique characteristics we’ve ever smelled and tasted in a Centennial forward beer. JUMP ON IN, MAKE A SPLASH!
