This vibrant American IPA celebrates the harvest with the use of fresh, wet Luminosa hops from Alluvial Farm. The sensory experience is defined by an explosion of tropical and stone fruit aromatics, specifically highlighting intense notes of yellow peach, ripe mango, and sweet honeydew melon. A clean, supporting malt bill provides a crisp, grainy foundation that allows the green, resinous character of the undried hops to shine without interference. It finishes with a firm, assertive bitterness and a refreshing dryness, epitomizing the bright, ephemeral nature of seasonal wet-hop brewing while maintaining the clean, hop-forward profile expected of the style.
Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (6-9 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a medium-sized, persistent white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by yellow peach, mango, and melon. A subtle, grassy 'green' freshness typical of wet hops is present, supported by low, clean, grainy maltiness and a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with prominent peach and tropical fruit flavors. Low, clean malt provides a neutral background for medium-high bitterness. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering hop resin aftertaste and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth texture and moderate-high carbonation. Provides a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth without any astringency.

Our goal, every harvest, is to make one wet hop beer with a hop variety that we’ve never previously used – and we LUCKED THE FUCK OUT that Coleman’s Alluvial Farm was picking Luminosa the last week of August. We’ve played around with Luminosa recently – it was just featured in our “Will They, Won’t They” IPA – and have been digging the big notes of yellow peach, mango, and melon it contributes to hop forward beers. This is an exciting variety that we hope to see around town more often – FOR WETS SAKE IT’S A GODDAMN DELIGHT!
