This American IPA delivers a vibrant sensory experience defined by a modern trio of Citra, Strata, and Nelson Sauvin hops. It pours with brilliant clarity, releasing a high-intensity bouquet of tropical passionfruit and crushed gooseberry, balanced by zesty grapefruit and a hint of dank resin. The use of Cryo hops ensures a clean, punchy hop profile without vegetal interference. A lean, crackery malt base provides the essential structure to support a firm, assertive bitterness. The experience concludes with a crisp, bone-dry finish and a lingering citrus-driven aftertaste, embodying a refined and focused West Coast-style character.
Appearance. Medium gold with brilliant clarity and a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of passionfruit and pine from the Strata, white grape and gooseberry from the Nelson Sauvin, and bright citrus from the Citra. Low, clean, grainy maltiness supports the hops with a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Hop-forward with flavors of lime, grapefruit, and tropical stone fruit. Bitterness is medium-high and clean, providing a sharp but smooth counterpoint to a very low, toasted cracker malt character. The finish is dry to medium-dry, with a lingering hoppy aftertaste of citrus zest and resin.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth texture and medium-high carbonation. There is a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and no astringency.
