Cloudburst Brewing BOYCOTT ULINE
This 7% American IPA delivers a defiant, hop-forward sensory experience defined by a classic West Coast profile. An assertive double dry-hop addition of Chinook, Columbus, Citra, and Amarillo creates a complex aromatic layering. The nose is dominated by pungent pine and sticky resin from the Chinook and Columbus, while Citra and Amarillo provide sharp bursts of white grapefruit and tangerine. It drinks with a focused, high bitterness and a clean, dry finish that emphasizes the bright hop oils over a lean, supportive malt base. It is a bold, uncompromising interpretation of the style with a vibrant, fruit-forward edge.
Appearance. Pours a brilliant deep gold to light copper with a thick, persistent off-white head that leaves dense lacing. Clarity is high, with only a very faint haze from the heavy dry-hop load.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring a complex blend of dank pine, earthy resin, and crushed needles. These forest-like notes are balanced by bright, citrusy esters of grapefruit zest and sweet tangerine. Low, clean, grainy malt provides a neutral background with no significant caramel.
Taste. The initial impression is aggressively hoppy, leading with flavors of resinous pine and pithy white grapefruit. Mid-palate reveals softer tangerine and citrus oil. Bitterness is firm and assertive but not harsh. The finish is very dry and clean, with a lingering aftertaste of citrus peel and resin.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from the hop resins. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp, refreshing bite. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but remains smooth.

In protest to Uline, we brewed a true AMERICAN STYLE IPA that we hopped with Chinook, Columbus, Citra, & Amarillo (grown by farms in Washington that employ Immigrant workers!) for notes of pine, resin, white grapefruit, tangerine, and freedom. Like, actual freedom and not a corrupt, tyrannical fascist regime in disguise.
