Bright Young Things is a vibrant Gose that captures the essence of a watermelon margarita. This collaboration with Hand Brew Co leads with a refreshing burst of succulent watermelon and zesty lime, supported by a clean, bready wheat malt base. A delicate lactic tartness intertwines with a distinct salinity, creating a mouthwatering profile that balances fruity sweetness with a crisp, dry finish. Brilliantly effervescent and bright, it offers a playful sensory interplay of salt and sun-drenched fruit, making it a quintessentially refreshing companion for celebratory moments and coastal afternoons.

Appearance. Pours a hazy pale straw to soft yellow, occasionally showing a faint pinkish blush from the fruit additions. It is topped by a moderate, bright white head with tight bubbles and fair retention.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity aromas of fresh watermelon and citrusy lime zest dominate, layered over a soft, bready malt backdrop. A clean lactic sourness is present, accompanied by a faint, bracing sea salt breeze and no perceptible hop character.

Taste. The initial impression is a juicy wave of watermelon and tangy citrus. A noticeable but balanced lactic acidity provides a tart structure, while a moderate salt character enhances the fruit flavors. Bready wheat malt provides a subtle foundation. It finishes very dry and refreshing with a lingering, mouthwatering salinity.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with very high, effervescent carbonation. The salt provides a tingly, mouthwatering quality that rounds out the mouthfeel without feeling heavy, complemented by a crisp, clean finish.
