Stout 6-6.5 º 25.8 IBU
This American Stout delivers an assertive sensory experience driven by a complex malt bill of caramelized, toasted, and Chocolate malts. The aroma is dominated by high-intensity notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans, accented by a distinct citrusy and resiny American hop character. On the palate, the beer is notably bitter and strong, providing a robust counterpoint to the underlying caramel sweetness. The mouthfeel is exceptionally creamy, a hallmark of the brewer's intent, which carries the 6.5% ABV with a smooth, warming grace. It concludes with a dry, lingering roasted finish that remains clean and bold.
Appearance. Jet black in color (SRM 40) and completely opaque. It supports a large, persistent head of light tan foam with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity roast aroma featuring prominent dark chocolate and espresso. Moderate citrusy and resinous hop notes are present, backed by a light caramel sweetness and low fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression is of bittersweet chocolate and heavily toasted bread. High bitterness is balanced by a medium-low malt sweetness featuring rich caramel. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering roasted coffee character and a clean, resinous hop flavor.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a noticeably creamy and velvety texture. Carbonation is medium-high, and there is a smooth, light alcohol warmth without any harsh astringency.
