This vintage 2018 English Cider offers an elegant, wine-like sensory experience, crafted from 100% freshly pressed English cider apples. The aroma presents a sophisticated depth of character with earthy and tannic notes typical of traditional orchards. The palate is defined by its bone-dry finish and complex maturation, revealing subtle nuances of baked apple and a refined astringency. As a still cider, it lacks carbonation, allowing the structural tannins and crisp acidity to take center stage. The six-month aging process integrates the 7% alcohol seamlessly, resulting in a clean, lingering finish that highlights the purity of the fruit and the quality of the vintage.
Appearance. Medium yellow to pale gold in color. Brilliant clarity with no visible carbonation. Being a still cider, it possesses no head, foam, or lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity with a rich, complex character of bittersweet English cider apples. Notes of dried fruit, light spice, and a faint, clean earthiness are present, complemented by subtle malic acidity and a hint of aged character from the maturation period.
