Euro Trash presents as an approachable, session-strength Belgian Blond Ale tailored for spring refreshment. A light, grainy-sweet malt backbone provides the foundation for a delicate aromatic profile featuring lemon-citrus esters. The sensory experience is uniquely enhanced by additions of ginger, coriander, and clove, which weave a spicy, peppery tapestry through the palate without overshadowing the clean, Pilsner-style malt character. Despite its lower alcohol content, it retains the style's characteristic effervescence and dry, soft finish. This beer balances the traditional honeyed sweetness of Belgian malts with a bright, herbal complexity, making for an exceptionally crisp and flavorful interpretation of the classic golden style.
Appearance. Deep yellow to light gold (5 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a large, dense, creamy white head that exhibits excellent retention and leaves fine Belgian lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring grainy-sweet and crackery malt notes. Distinctive yeast-derived esters of lemon and orange peel are complemented by spicy-peppery phenols. Added notes of earthy coriander and a subtle, zesty ginger zip provide a unique botanical layer.
Taste. Initial impression of light honeyed malt sweetness quickly transitions into a complex interplay of fruit and spice. Flavors of orange citrus meet a sharp, spicy kick from ginger and clove.
