Chien Bleu Bamse presents a refreshing take on the American Lager, substituting traditional lagering with a clean Kveik yeast fermentation. The grist, composed of Pilsner and kilned malts, provides a delicate, grainy-sweet foundation. A contemporary blend of new German hops adds a light layer of floral and spicy complexity without overshadowing the beer's crisp nature. Pale straw in color and brilliantly clear, it delivers a neutral palate with a dry, snapping finish. This light-bodied beer prioritizes drinkability, balancing low bitterness against a subtle malt backdrop for a quintessential session experience.

Appearance. Very pale straw color (2-3 SRM). Topped with a white, frothy head that shows moderate persistence. Brilliance is high with excellent clarity.

Aroma. Low intensity aroma featuring grainy, sweet malt notes from the Pilsner base. A faint, spicy and floral hop presence is detectable from the German hop blend. The fermentation profile is very clean, though a minimal, earthy yeast character may be perceived.

Taste. The initial impression is neutral and crisp. Low grainy malt flavors provide a slight perceived sweetness that is quickly balanced by low bitterness. Hop flavors are moderately low, showing herbal and lightly floral qualities. The finish is dry and clean with a short, refreshing aftertaste.
