The malt profile is centered on toasted breadcrumbs and subtle caramel, reflecting a rustic, approachable character. Despite its slightly elevated strength for the style, it maintains a light body and low bitterness, ensuring high drinkability. Delicate hints of toffee and a light roasty dryness define the palate, while the exceptionally low carbonation provides a smooth, still-like texture. It is a malt-focused experience that balances sweet sugary qualities with a clean, toasted, and coffee-forward finish.
Appearance. Dark brown (approximately 20-25 SRM) with a distinct hazy or cloudy appearance. It features a low, off-white head with minimal retention and sparse lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity with a dominant character of roasted coffee and toasted bread. Low malt notes of caramel and toffee are present, along with very faint pome fruit esters and a negligible earthy hop presence.
Taste. Initial toasted malt sweetness leads into flavors of coffee and biscuits. Secondary notes of caramel and toffee provide depth. The bitterness is low and non-cloying, maintaining a malty balance. The finish is relatively clean with a light, lingering roasty dryness.
Mouthfeel. Light body with very low carbonation, providing a soft, almost still mouthfeel. No alcohol warmth is present, and the texture is smooth without any grain-derived astringency.
