Vaporhaze is a sensory tour de force, leveraging the tropical-boosting power of Phantasm alongside an intense double dry hop. This Double IPA radiates a pungent bouquet of white grape and crushed gooseberry from Nelson Sauvin, paired with the concentrated citrus zest of Citra CRYO. Columbus CRYO provides a nuanced, resinous anchor to the otherwise fruit-forward profile. The palate is defined by a velvety, opaque texture that delivers waves of passion fruit and guava, supported by a soft, pillowy malt backbone. Despite its 8.5% strength, the beer maintains high drinkability with a smooth finish and well-integrated alcohol warmth.

Appearance. Pale gold to deep straw (6 SRM). Opaque, milky haze with a thick, long-lasting, creamy white head that leaves dense, sticky lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity. Explosive tropical fruit aromatics of guava and passion fruit (enhanced by Phantasm) mix with Nelson Sauvin's signature white wine and gooseberry notes. Citra CRYO adds bright tangerine and grapefruit zest, while Columbus CRYO contributes a subtle, dank, peppery resin in the background.

Taste. Initial impression is a juice-like saturation of tropical and stone fruits. Prominent flavors of mango, grapefruit, and sauvignon blanc grapes. Malt character is low and bready, providing a soft support without caramel sweetness. Bitterness is moderate and smooth, lacking any harsh edge, leading to a medium-dry finish with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a creamy, soft, and pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Alcohol presence provides a gentle, restrained warmth that complements the richness of the hop oils. No hop-derived astringency.
