Appearance. Dark brown to black color. Clear and not opaque, with a moderate-sized, persistent light tan head and good lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop character featuring citrus and tropical notes. This is complemented by moderate yeast-derived esters of bubblegum and spicy phenols reminiscent of white pepper. A low background malt presence of toast and light chocolate is detectable.
Taste. Initial impression of juicy fruit and citrus hops, followed by a mid-palate of spicy white pepper and sweet bubblegum. Medium-high bitterness that is firm but not harsh. Low roasted malt flavor contributes to the dry, clean finish without being ashy. Complexity is high, balancing fruity yeast and hops with a supportive malt backbone.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a high, frizzante carbonation level. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth from the 9% ABV. Smooth texture with no significant astringency.
