This collaboration with Tarin Cervejaria presents a bold Fruit Beer built upon a robust Double Hazy IPA foundation. An immediate explosion of fresh passion fruit dominates the sensory profile, seamlessly integrated with citrus and pungent, dank hop aromatics. The palate starts with a firm, structural bitterness that gives way to the fruit’s characteristic tropical tang and a balanced, bright acidity. Despite its 8% ABV, the beer maintains a remarkably dry finish. A silky, velvety texture defines the mouthfeel, supported by soft carbonation that rounds out the intense tropical and lupulin-driven experience.
Appearance. SRM 4-6. Pours a deep straw to golden color with a dense, opaque haze. Topped by a thick, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics featuring a powerful burst of fresh passion fruit. Secondary layers reveal pungent, dank, and resinous hop character alongside bright citrus zest. Malt presence is low, offering a clean, bready background that allows the fruit and hops to shine.
Taste. The initial impression is a vivid wave of tropical passion fruit, followed by a firm, resinous hop bitterness. Citrus hop flavors mingle with the fruit’s natural acidity, creating a balanced, tangy profile. The malt provides a neutral, cereal-like support. Finishes clean and remarkably dry with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notably silky, creamy texture. Carbonation is soft and moderate. A gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, reflecting the high strength without being harsh.
