This Session Saison is a bright, highly refreshing interpretation of the style, delivering a vivid citrus profile. The interplay between Mandarina Bavaria and Amarillo hops creates a layered bouquet of tangerine and grapefruit, further heightened by the addition of orange and lemon peels. A rustic, crackery malt base supports expressive Belgian yeast notes of cracked black pepper and pome fruit. Its lean profile and high attenuation lead to a bone-dry finish that invites another sip. Effervescent and crisp, it balances traditional farmhouse spice with a modern, hop-forward zestiness that makes it exceptionally approachable and vibrant.
Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (4–6 SRM). Topped by a large, frothy white head with good retention and delicate lacing. Displays a slight, characteristic haze from yeast and citrus oils.
Aroma. High intensity citrus aromatics featuring tangerine and lemon zest. Moderate spicy yeast esters resembling black pepper. Low grainy malt character. Pronounced hop-driven floral and orange notes.
Taste. Initial burst of citrus zest and orange pulp. Hop flavors of mandarin and grapefruit are prominent, supported by a soft, grainy malt backbone. Moderate bitterness is well-integrated with a dry, peppery yeast character. Finishes very dry and crisp with a lingering citrus and spice aftertaste.
