Cerveses Hoppit THE FURY
This West Coast Pilsner offers a vibrant, modern interpretation of the German Pils style. It features a brilliant golden appearance with a clean base of Pilsner malt providing subtle notes of toasted cracker and honey. The sensory experience is dominated by the assertive use of Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo, and Simcoe hops, which contribute pungent layers of resinous pine, sweet tropical fruit, and zesty citrus peel. While the fermentation profile is impeccably clean, the assertive bitterness and mineral snap drive a bone-dry finish. It is a crisp, refreshing lager that successfully bridges old-world structure with contemporary, punchy hop character.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (3 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves persistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of pine, blueberry, and citrus zest from the Mosaic and Simcoe. Supported by a low grainy-sweet and doughy malt character with light honey undertones. Clean fermentation profile with no yeast esters.
Taste. Initial light cracker malt flavor is quickly eclipsed by a firm hop bitterness and flavors of resinous pine and tropical fruit. The balance is decidedly bitter and hop-forward. The finish is crisp and bone-dry, with a lingering clean bitterness and a slight minerally character that accentuates the dryness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation that provides a refreshing, prickly sensation. Smooth and clean without any harshness or astringency. No perceptible alcohol warmth.
