Intense aromas of crushed white grapes, gooseberry, and Sauvignon Blanc wine notes from the Nelson Sauvin intermingle with pungent passion fruit and citrus zest from the Galaxy. Despite its 8.8% strength, the beer maintains high drinkability through a smooth, velvety texture. A soft but firm bitterness balances a subtle, grainy malt backdrop, while the finish is characterized by lingering tropical fruit esters and a clean, warming alcohol presence.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7-9 SRM) with a pronounced, opaque haze. Features a dense, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Intensity is high, dominated by New World hop characteristics of white wine, gooseberry, passion fruit, and mango. Background notes of resin and citrus peel are supported by a neutral, grainy malt presence and a clean fermentation profile with a hint of warming alcohol.
Taste. Strong hop flavors of crushed grapes, pineapple, and citrus. Initial impression is fruity and vibrant, followed by a moderately high bitterness that remains smooth and avoids harshness. Low, supportive bready malt character. Finish is medium-dry with a lingering hoppy aftertaste and a clean, smooth alcohol flavor.
