Cervejaria MinduBier Straction
This Hazy IPA showcases a vibrant interaction of modern hops, centered around the multi-layered Strata variety. On the nose and palate, it delivers a high-intensity explosion of tropical passion fruit and ripe strawberry, primarily driven by the Strata and Mosaic additions. A distinct, resinous dankness and citrus backbone from the Columbus hops provide a complex counterpoint to the initial fruitiness. The mouthfeel is notably soft and silky, characteristic of the style's use of flaked grains, leading to a smooth, approachable finish. With its deep opacity and rich aromatic profile, it embodies a lush, juice-forward experience where hop depth and drinkability perfectly converge.
Appearance. Straw to very light amber (4-6 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze that gives the beer a luminous glow. It features a medium-high, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical passion fruit, sweet strawberry, and citrus. A distinct, resinous dankness is present, supported by a clean, bready, and lightly grainy malt background. Fermentation esters are fruity and well-integrated with the hop profile.
Taste. High to very high fruity hop flavors of passion fruit and red berries (strawberry) followed by a citrusy and dank resinous character. Malt flavor is low and neutral-bready. Bitterness is medium-low and smooth, never harsh, leading to a soft, off-dry finish with lingering tropical fruit and a clean fermentation profile.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a characteristically soft, silky, and pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. There is a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and a total absence of hop harshness or astringency.
