The sensory profile is defined by a sharp, clean lactic acidity that intertwines with the vinous character of toasted oak and supple wood tannins. On the palate, a foundation of pale malts offers subtle bready and biscuity notes, supporting the vibrant fruit esters. The barrel aging imparts distinctive cues of tart red currants and dark berries, characteristic of the wine influence, which complement the beer’s lemony tartness.
