Lahar flows like its namesake, a bright gold Munich Helles born from volcanic inspiration. The foundation of Pilsner and Vienna malts creates a rich, grainy-sweet core, while Carahell adds a touch of honeyed depth. Traditional German lúpulos, Perle and Hersbrucker, provide a delicate layer of floral spice and herbal elegance. What sets this collaboration apart is a subtle, grounded whisper of smoked malt in the background, echoing the rocky terrain of Colima. It remains a clean, bottom-fermented lager with a smooth, rounded palate that finishes dry, balancing traditional Bavarian structure with a unique, smoky volcanic aftertaste that lingers softly on the finish.
Appearance. Bright, deep gold (5 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Supports a thick, persistent creamy white head with excellent retention and light lacing.
