This Double IPA showcases an immense hop profile driven by a saturated blend of Strata, Galaxy, and Strata Hash. At 10% ABV, it presents a bold yet incredibly smooth experience, characterized by a pillowy soft texture and a profile reminiscent of fresh-squeezed juice. Intense aromas of ripened stone fruit lead into a palate bursting with vibrant notes of passion fruit, tropical mango, and nostalgic peach rings candy. While potent, the alcohol is expertly integrated, supporting the lush fruit character without harshness. The result is a modern, high-gravity interpretation that balances massive hop saturation with a remarkably supple and approachable mouthfeel.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7–9 SRM). Opaque and hazy with a dense, persistent, off-white head that leaves significant lacing.
Aroma. Intense hop-forward aroma dominated by stone fruit, passion fruit, and dank resin. Supporting notes of ripe mango and berry. Malt is neutral and low in the background, with a clean fermentation profile and a hint of sweet, smooth alcohol.
Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of tropical fruit including mango, passion fruit, and a distinct peach rings candy character. Low, clean, soft malt character. Bitterness is firm and moderately high but smooth, balancing the fruit-forward profile. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering impression of tropical juice and resinous hops.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, pillowy body with a creamy, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth provides a smooth glow without any solventy harshness. No hop-derived astringency.
