This massive Imperial Stout presents an opulent sensory experience, refined by eighteen months in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. The aroma is a concentrated bouquet of brown sugar, crushed nuts, and rich Madagascar vanilla. On the palate, it transforms into liquid baklava, where toasted coconut and distinct pistachio flavors meld with decadent milk chocolate and coconut cream. The barrel aging adds layers of charred oak and caramel, balancing the intense sweetness. Velvety and immensely thick, the mouthfeel is enhanced by a creamy synergy of vanilla and coconut, finishing with a lingering, nutty warmth that reflects its formidable strength and complexity.

Appearance. Jet black and fully opaque (SRM 40+). It pours with a thick, deep tan head that shows moderate to low retention, leaving viscous legs on the glass as it settles.

Aroma. High intensity with a complex blend of bittersweet chocolate, roasted coffee, and heavy bourbon-barrel influences. Prominent aromas of toasted coconut, nutty pistachio, and Madagascar vanilla are layered over deep notes of brown sugar and dark dried fruits like raisins.

Taste. The initial impression is decadently sweet and rich, featuring prominent milk chocolate and coconut cream. High malt complexity delivers notes of toasted bread and caramel, while the 18-month barrel aging provides a smooth bourbon character. The pistachio creates a distinct, crushed-nut flavor that lingers alongside Madagascar vanilla. Bitterness is low, serving only to prevent a cloying finish, which remains sweet and nutty.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied, viscous, and chewy with a lush, velvety texture. Carbonation is low. A smooth, noticeable alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated. No astringency; high creaminess derived from the coconut and vanilla additions.
