Camera Obscura is an indulgent Imperial Stout that masterfully balances decadence with a clean, roasty foundation. Infused with artisanal chocolate from Coco Andre Chocolatier and creamy peanut butter, the sensory experience is one of liquid chocolate candy layered over a deep, charred malt backbone. Despite its 10% ABV, the alcohol is seamlessly integrated into a velvety texture, providing a gentle warmth rather than sharp heat. The palate is defined by rich cocoa and nutty depths, concluding with a sophisticated cocoa-dusted dryness that invites repeated tasting, avoiding the cloying sweetness often found in high-gravity stouts.

Appearance. Opaque, jet black with a dense, creamy, deep tan head and moderate retention. High viscosity is apparent through visible legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity with a rich blend of bittersweet chocolate, roasted coffee, and creamy peanut butter. Low dark fruit esters of prune and raisin support a moderately strong roast profile. Hop aroma is very low and earthy.

Taste. An intense, complex mix of dark roasted grain, chocolate candy depth, and savory nuttiness. Initial malt sweetness is quickly balanced by a firm roasty bitterness. The finish is notably dry with a lingering cocoa-dusted character and smooth, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
