This Belgian Tripel offers a bold sensory experience by fusing traditional monastic foundations with the rugged intensity of Islay whisky. A base of sweet pilsner malt provides a soft backdrop for the complex interplay of spicy phenols and citrus esters. The addition of Islay whisky introduces distinct layers of earthy peat and subtle smoke that weave through the herbal and spicy characters derived from a blend of German and American hops. Despite the powerful flavor profile, the beer maintains the style's characteristic effervescence and dry finish, resulting in a balanced yet deeply evocative beverage where the peat profile zegeviert as a defining element.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber in color (6–7 SRM) with excellent clarity. It supports a long-lasting, creamy, rocky white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass as it recedes.

Aroma. High intensity; a complex bouquet featuring peppery and clove-like phenols alongside orange-like fruity esters. These Belgian yeast traits are layered with a prominent, smoky peat character from the Islay whisky. A light, grainy-sweet malt presence is complemented by subtle spicy and herbal notes from the German and American hops.

Taste. Initial impression of honey-like malt sweetness followed quickly by sharp peppery spice. Mid-palate, the Islay whisky influence emerges with savory smoke and earthy peat, supported by moderate hop bitterness. The flavor profile remains balanced between fruity esters and herbal hop notes, finishing very dry with a lingering spicy-smoky aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with high carbonation that provides a lively, effervescent mouthfeel. There is a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth consistent with its 7.5% ABV, finishing clean without any heavy or syrupy residue.
