This Hazy IPA radiates a vibrant tropical character driven by intensive biotransformation. The aroma is dominated by the specific impact of the Cryo Pop blend, delivering a rush of sweet pineapple and ripe peach. Citra and Ekuanot Cryo dry-hopping further elevate the profile with bright citrus layers and a subtle, balancing herbaceousness on the finish. Despite its strength, the beer maintains a leaner-than-average body for the style, enhancing its high drinkability. It pours with a signature East Coast opacity and a lush, white head, offering a smooth, fruit-forward experience that masterfully hides its 6.7% ABV behind clean, hop-derived complexity.

Appearance. Straw to light gold (4–6 SRM). Opaque and hazy with a characteristic luminous shine. Supports a medium, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and delicate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of pineapple, peach, and citrus. The malt character is neutral and lightly bready in the background. Fermentation is clean with supportive fruity esters and no detectable alcohol or caramel.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor of tropical pineapple, stone fruit, and citrus zest. Low to medium-low bitterness provides a soft balance to the off-dry, grainy malt base. The finish is smooth and clean with a lingering fruity aftertaste and a very light, pleasant herbaceous quality.

Mouthfeel. Medium body, designed for high drinkability. Moderate carbonation with a soft, smooth texture. Lacks any harshness or astringency, featuring well-integrated, subtle alcohol warmth.

Alpha Centauri è una hazy ipa dall'aspetto velato tipico di una birra dell’East Coast americano, ma con corpo snello per facilitare la bevuta e nascondere la gradazione alcolica. La luppolatura è eseguita per massimizzare le biotrasformazioni degli oli essenziali dei luppoli da parte dei lieviti. La prima luppolatura a caldo (in hop stand) è stata eseguita con una buona dose di Cryo Pop, blend di luppoli americani creato per avere un alto contenuto di composti aromatici che si preservano durante tutta la fase di fermentazione e maturazione. A questa seguono due dry hopping di Citra, Ekuanot Cryo e Cryo Pop. Al naso prevalgono note agrumate, di pesca e di ananas con un finale leggermente erbaceo. In bocca la bevuta rispecchia le note olfattive, seguite da una nota dolce e morbida conferita dal malto di avena.
