This Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer captures the indulgent essence of an espresso rye chocolate chip cookie topped with melting ice cream. Deep, roasted notes from Carafa and Munich malts provide a sturdy base for the assertive, freshly ground character of Espresso and the earthy richness of Cocoa Nibs. A distinct peppery spiciness arises from the Rye malt, cutting through the lush, creamy sweetness of Vanilla. Pilsner malt ensures a clean foundation, allowing the decadent bakery-inspired flavors to shine. The result is a complex, dessert-forward profile where roasted bitterness and velvety sweetness achieve a harmonious, a la mode balance.
Appearance. Deep mahogany to near black (SRM 35-40). Pours with a thick, creamy tan head that demonstrates moderate retention and leaves light lacing. Opaque and dense in the glass.
