Casa Bruja Chivoperro is a vibrant American IPA that pours a distinct copper, striking a balance between tropical intensity and firm structure. The sensory experience is led by a powerful dry-hop profile, releasing high-intensity aromas of ripe mango and sharp passion fruit. On the palate, these tropical notes are supported by a clean, toasted malt backbone that provides enough body to carry the assertive hop character. A firm, medium-high bitterness cuts through the initial fruitiness, leading into a crisp, medium-dry finish. This well-balanced ale remains hop-forward throughout, showcasing a clean fermentation profile typical of the style.
Appearance. Deep copper to light reddish-amber (12–14 SRM). Clear with a medium-sized, off-white head that exhibits good persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit notes of mango and passion fruit. Supported by a medium-low clean maltiness with hints of caramel and toasted grain. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with prominent mango and passion fruit flavors. Medium-high hop bitterness provides a crisp edge, balanced by low toasted malt and light caramel sweetness. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, clean, hoppy aftertaste.
