Caracole Troublette offers a robust and artisanal take on the Witbier style, characterized by a strikingly pale and hazy appearance. This wheat beer deviates from traditional Belgian white beers by offering a fuller body and enhanced aromatic depth. The sensory profile is led by zesty orange peel and freshly ground, lemony coriander, which harmonize with a substantial bready malt backbone derived from unmalted wheat. While rich in aroma, it remains exceptionally smooth and subtle on the palate. Gentle herbal notes and soft yeast esters provide a sophisticated layers of complexity, culminating in a crisp, dry finish that maintains the style's signature refreshing character.
Appearance. 2–4 SRM. Pale straw to deep yellow, featuring a distinct milky, whitish-yellow cloudiness from suspended starch and yeast. Crowned by a dense, white, moussy head with excellent retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Dominated by bready, grainy malt and light honey notes. Zesty, citrusy-orange fruitiness is prominent, supported by perfumy coriander and a complex herbal, peppery background. Low spicy-herbal hop aroma is present but secondary to the spice profile.
Taste. Initial bready and grainy malt flavor with subtle vanilla-like sweetness. High orange-citrus fruitiness is balanced by herbal-spicy coriander. Bitterness is low to medium-low, just enough to prevent cloying. The fermentation character is clean but spicy, leading to a refreshingly crisp and dry finish with no harsh aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body, offering more weight and creaminess than a standard Belgian white. High carbonation creates a lively, effervescent sensation. Smooth and refreshing with no perceptible alcohol warmth or astringency.

C'est une bière bio fabriquée à partir d'ingrédients issus de l'agriculture biologique et labellisés par "NATURE ET PROGRES" . Son goût est épicé, relevé par la coriandre et laisse en fin de bouche une saveur d'agrumes. Elle possède une mousse légère qui gardera son épaisseur si vous servez la bière dans des verres de hauteur moyenne. Pas très forte, elle est rafraîchissante et désaltérante. A boire fraîche mais non glacée.
