Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (approx 7-9 SRM). Clear with a slight chill haze permissible. Medium-sized, off-white head with good persistence and moderate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of white grape, gooseberry, and tropical stone fruit. Secondary citrus scents of lime zest are present. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral background. Clean fermentation profile without significant esters.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with flavors of ripe apricot and lime. Medium-high bitterness is clean and assertive. Low grainy malt flavor supports the hop presentation without adding heavy sweetness. The finish is dry to medium-dry, leaving a lingering aftertaste of resinous hops and tropical fruit.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Medium-high carbonation provides a crisp bite. A very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated. No harshness or astringency.
