Maibock-Helles Bock 6.3 º 37 IBU
Cameron’s Rye Bock reimagines the classic Dunkles Bock by integrating rye malt into a rich, continental grain bill. This deep orange-to-copper lager offers a complex sensory profile where the characteristic bready and toasty Maillard notes of Munich malt are sharpened by a subtle, energetic spiciness from the rye. The use of Hallertau hops adds a distinctively earthy and floral aroma that balances the malt-forward core. The result is an exceptionally smooth, medium-bodied experience that delivers a pleasant dryness and a clean finish, bridging the gap between heavy winter lagers and crisp spring styles.
Appearance. Deep orange to light copper (14-17 SRM); brilliant clarity with a large, creamy, persistent off-white head and fine lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity featuring rich bready and toasty malt character; notable earthy and floral hop aroma from Hallertau. Subtle spicy rye notes are present alongside a clean lager profile and a very faint hint of dark fruit.
Taste. Rich initial maltiness with toasty Maillard flavors and soft caramel; the rye malt provides a spicy, peppery counterpoint and a pleasant dryness. Earthy hop flavor is moderate, supported by a firm bitterness that balances the malt sweetness. Finishes clean and well-attenuated with a lingering bready aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, creamy texture; moderate carbonation. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, providing a gentle glow without any harshness or astringency.
