Camerons Brewery Surf is a remarkably crisp and refreshing interpretation of a contemporary lager, blending the neutral, clean-finishing qualities of an American Lager with a subtle Bohemian flair. The sensory profile opens with a delicate aroma of grainy-sweet malt and faint hints of corn, accented by light floral and spicy hop notes. Its appearance is brilliant and pale straw, crowned by a frothy white head. On the palate, the beer is light and effervescent, delivering a neutral malt graininess balanced by a low bitterness. The finish is snappy and bone-dry, emphasizing a high carbonation that enhances its thirst-quenching, coastal-inspired character.
Appearance. Very pale straw (approximately 2 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a white, frothy head that has moderate to low persistence and leaves minimal lacing.
Aroma. Low intensity aroma featuring a clean fermentation profile. Initial scents of grainy malt and light corn-like sweetness are present, complemented by a very subtle, optional floral and spicy hop character.
