Appearance. Pours a pale straw to light gold (SRM 3-4) with a slight, natural haze. It is topped by a brilliant white, frothy head with moderate retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity with dominant vinous notes of white wine, gooseberry, and elderflower from the Nelson Sauvin hops. Behind the fruit is a clean, bready malt presence and a faint, spicy top-fermenting yeast character.
Taste. The initial impression is crisp and refreshing. Flavors of white grape and tropical fruit lead, supported by a lean, bready malt backbone.
